- Clear explanations of the adoption process and expectations of the adoptive parents following placement

- Assistance in determining appropriate relationships with the birth family
- Post placement supervision of the adoptive placement as required by Virginia law
- Provide necessary paperwork to adoption attorney; insures timely finalization of the adoption
