Bethany's adoption program extends to 13 other countries. The country requirements pages listed highlight the adoption requirements and country fees for each country. Bethany believes that children grow best in families. Whenever possible we work to reunite families or encourage in-country adoption before placing a child through international adoption. Since 1982, Bethany has found permanent families in the United States for more than 6,000 children growing up in orphanages in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The Sponsorship program reflects our dedication to improving the lives of children currently in orphanages.
