Should I Parent or Choose Adoption?
Deciding what to do is tough. To parent a baby alone is an awesome responsibility, something that doesn't get easier as your child grows up. To be sure, there are wrong reasons to choose parenting. One of them goes something like this, "I got myself into this, now I must pay the consequences." Before you commit yourself, know ALL the facts. Ask a Bethany counselor for the brochure entitled: "Single Parenting: 10 Most Asked Questions".

You may have ruled out parenting because your future career or educational plans would be jeopardized, or your resources are so limited you can't properly provide everything your child needs. In that case your only pro-life option open to you is adoption, i.e. making an alternate parenting decision.

Tools to help you decide
To decide on adoption and select a family you are willing to entrust your child to can be hard and painful. Get the Facts. This is a great publication helping you to rationally weigh your options and the long-term implications on your life and the life of your baby.
