Clinical Services
Bethany Christian Services is proud to offer Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) through Georgia’s DHR to our community. This service is provided by a team of mental health professionals who seek to strengthen youth and families through:
- Personalized Services. Every child and family is given the opportunity to develop its own individual goals. Enriching the youth is a main objective, as they overcome behavioral, transitional, addiction, legal, family, and school challenges. Every step of the journey is designed to allow the youth to excel.
Strength-Based Approach. Many programs see only the deficits in a youth and family functioning. Bethany Christian Services approaches each family member building upon his or her strengths and talents. This approach is extremely effective and allows the youth to use current tools to change his or her circumstances for the better.
- Community-Centered Solutions. Members of the IFI team meet with the youth and family when it is convenient for the family. While we do meet with the family in the home, we also use the immediate community to offer support to the family. By using community supports the child and family have the best opportunity to maintain their progress.
It is our goal that each child and family will be strengthened by the new tools they acquire through IFI. A family who takes advantage of IFI services can depend on 3 months and 6 to 11 hours a week of services, help with finding and using community resources, and a sound direction in development of a plan to enrich their lives. This program is a Medicaid provider and IFI will bill your Medicaid directly.
