Fees
Bethany provides complete international adoption program services. Please check with your Bethany office as fees vary among the branches (list of Bethany offices). All fees are approximate and subject to change due to the nature of international adoption. Payments of fees are staggered and due at different times throughout the adoption process.
If you live in an area not served by a Bethany office, Bethany will provide placement services only.
Bethany Complete Program Services
Bethany offers a complete program of services including family assessment, immigration assistance, child placement, and post-placement services. The approximate program fees (excluding country fees) are $6,000-$10,750 (varies among Bethany branches). This fee also includes the application fee, assistance with dossier preparation, telephone calls, some mailing costs, adoption workshops, background checks, and coordination with the foreign country.
Bethany Placement Services Only
If you live in an area not served by a Bethany office, you may use a Bethany-approved agency to complete your family assessment and post-placement reports (this option is available for most countries). You are responsible for all fees to the family assessment agency. Bethany's program fees for services are $3,700, which include the application fee, dossier preparation assistance, telephone calls, some mailing costs, and coordination with the foreign country.
Individual Country Fees
Country fees are due in addition to those associated with the above mentioned program for which you are approved. You will pay these fees in addition to those associated with whichever program you choose. Most country fees listed below do not include travel and accommodations.
