 The Alex Project
His name was Alex. He was five months old when we first met. His mom had called Bethany a couple of days earlier saying she just could not care for him anymore. In a twinkling of an eye, Alex’s whole world changed. From a frightened little boy who did not smile we saw Alex transformed into a secure little boy who was learning to give and receive love through first an interim care family and then with his adoptive family. Now, his future is as bright as the shine in his eyes - thanks to a birth mom who said, "I can’t do it, but I will find someone who can."

Her name was Holly. She was born with Down syndrome and other health related issues. At Bethany, we knew that God had a plan for her life and we were excited to be a part of that plan and watch it unfold. Holly is now safely tucked into her forever family’s hearts and arms.
