We are currently accepting preliminary applications for Caucasian, Minority and Special Needs programs.
Qualifications
Applicants must be:
- Committed members of a Bible-believing church
- At least 25 years of age and married for more than two years
- Prepared financially, emotionally, and spiritually to care for the needs of a child
- Desire to be a part of a life promoting ministry
- Committed to growing and learning through the joys and struggles of the adoption journey
Services Offered in the Domestic Adoption Program
- Family assessment (homestudy) - series of paperwork, interviews, and profile creation
- Education to prepare for adoptive parenthood
- Adoption planning: The development of an agreement defining your level of comfort and openness in regards to adopting a child. This agreement will be used when the decision is made to show your profile to a birthparent whose desires match that of your family's level of openness
- Support, counsel, and education throughout the waiting process
- Once your profile is selected and a birthparent has chosen your family to adopt the child, you will receive timely updates, counsel, and support to guide you through this often anxious period of time
- Assistance with the legal issues and requirements in adoption (finalization)
- Continued support and counsel after placement through visits and phone calls
