How can we partner?
There are so many ways to be a disciple for the babies of Bethany. Get directly involved in a number of ways from Shepherding Homes, Mentors, Church Ambassadors, Crisis Response Team, Event Planners, Office Assistance, orphanage partnership or create your own position. See below for more information. To start the process, contact the Bethany Office at 314-781-6363 or visit our website to download an application. Use your specific life-affirming gifts and talents to help those served through Bethany.


Missouri Tax Credit still available for individual or business donors:
Please let your congregation know that financially partnering with Bethany is not only life-affirming, it’s financially wise as well. For every $100 or more donated to Bethany by June 30, 2009, families receive a 50% additional Missouri tax credit. For example:

If, Donation = $1000
Federal Deduction (35% rate) = 350
State Deduction (6% rate) = 60
Tax credit = 500
Total Savings = 910
TOTAL OUT-OF-POCKET = $ 90

Shepherding Homes
Do you have the gift of hospitality? Could you take in a young woman facing an unplanned pregnancy? Bethany is reviving their SHEPHERDING HOME program, seeking families to provide a home for a young woman as she walks through a pregnancy.


Mentors
Do you have the gift of compassion? Could you provide a relationship to a woman planning to parent her child? Two out of every 3 women Bethany serves chooses to parent. Bethany is seeking wise women to walk beside these young mothers as they make informed parenting decisions for their infants. The time commitment is based on a mother’s need and your desire as well. It could be as seldom as once a month visits and phone calls to weekly interaction. Match meetings will occur to assure that the mentor and young mother are a good fit. Training and consultation will be provided.


Crisis Response Team
Do you have the gift of versatility? Bethany is developing a team of disciples to respond to ongoing one time needs. This may be praying for children, rocking a child, seeking donations for a family without possessions, hosting a baby shower for Bethany babies, putting together care packets for birth mothers, etc. Needs arise throughout the year and. There is no minimal commitment.


Event Planners:
Do you have the gift of creativity? Join our team to help host events for adoptive families and birthparents. Help Bethany honor and celebrate the gift of children.


Orphanage Partnership:
Do you have the gift of building teams? Bring a church team together to commit to a Bethany sponsored orphanage. Your team can make a direct impact to enhance the lives of orphans. You can take mission trips, do fundraising drives, and even adopt from some of the orphanages. What an impact this would have on God’s world!!!


Office Assistance:
Do you have the gift of organization? Help our office with ongoing office tasks, including answering the phone, filing, organizing, etc. There are a variety of tasks!! You choose how much time you donate to bless Bethany.
