- Service available to adoptive families and birthfamilies during the birthparent revocation period
- Infants are discharged to loving foster families for 25 days or until birthparent rights are terminated
- Foster families provide nurture and medical care for babies until they are either placed with an adoptive family or returned to the birthmother
- Provides birthparents additional time to make a final decision with regard to the future of their child
- Provides a service to adoptive parents who are awaiting the placement of a child
