Expectant Parent Counseling
  • Counseling is provided free of charge to expectant parents who are exploring their options regarding parenting and adoption.
  • Counseling services are available throughout the pregnancy, during the time leading up to the delivery and afterwards.
  • Services include, but are not limited to, aid in decision making, planning for the hospital stay, and assistance with finding a family for your child.
  • Legal assistance is provided with the termination of both the birthmother’s and birthfather’s parental rights.
  • We have “mobile offices” and can travel to meet with expectant parents if they are unable to come to our office.

All of our services to birthfamilies are free for life. This includes individual counseling, group counseling and mentoring. We exist to minister to families experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and counseling is a necessary part of making an informed decision.

At Bethany, you are in control of choosing the adoption plan you think will be best for you and your baby. If you are comfortable with it, we encourage the birthfather as well as other family members to be involved in the planning process. No matter which type of adoption you choose, Bethany will handle the legal matters involved in the adoption. You will choose the adoptive family and you will have a say in the type of relationship that you desire with them and your child.
