Intercountry Adoption

Since 1982, Bethany has found permanent families in the U.S for more than 5,500 children growing up in orphanages in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Our experienced staff are ready to guide adoptive parents through the steps required to adopt a child.
Bethany Christian Services has adoption programs with countries around the world including China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Albania, Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, and Ethiopia.
Our office also provides adoptive family assessment and post placement services on a contract basis for families who are working with another agency or using other resources to locate a child.
Who can adopt?
Families who can provide a stable, nurturing, and secure environment for a child are welcome applicants. At least one applicant must be a US Citizen and all applicants should be over 25 years of age. Please request an information packet for detailed information to find out the specific requirements for each country.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available: adoption tax credit, various grant organizations, adoption loan programs, and creative fundraising ideas.
