Al and Valerie - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania
PLACEMENT!!
Hello, we would like to take this moment to thank you for your selfless act of considering adoption for your child. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time and we hope that this brief description of ourselves will encourage you to enquire more about us. Throughout the early stages of our marriage we openly discussed the possibility of starting a family through adoption. Because of our inability to have biological children, adoption has been a shining star in what may otherwise be a lifetime spent wondering what it would be like to share the endless love that we have for each other with children of our own. We look forward to experiencing every aspect of parenthood from our baby’s very first steps and words to the day that they go away to college, marry and have a family of their own.
Some things we would like you know about us
We became friends 18 years ago and have been married for 10 of those years. Our love for one another continues to grow with each passing year. We share many interests. We love spending time outdoors, taking long walks in the park or at the beach, bicycling, rollerblading, swimming, golfing or riding a roller coaster or two. We are both Catholics. Our values and beliefs are based strongly in our faith. Our relationship with our parish community allows us to share many values with our friends and acquaintances. We have a wonderful adoption support group at our parish that has been of great value to us. The support group is not only for couples who are currently adopting but is a lifelong circle of friends that share experiences throughout their child’s life.
My wife Valerie
Valerie is my best friend and my soul mate. We began dating as young adults, going to high school dances. Our relationship grew into a strong, lasting friendship. Valerie has provided me with support when I needed it most. She keeps me focused when I lose sight of my goals and is there to praise my efforts when I succeed. We have faced many challenges together and continue to grow in our love for one another.
My Husband Al
Al’s personality is one of a very caring and compassionate nature. He puts others before himself and does not expect anything in return. I knew from the moment that I laid eyes on Al that he was the man for me. We are best friends and soul mates. I couldn’t imagine my life any other way. We compliment, support and praise each other.
Our Home & Our Families
We live close to our parents and friends. The community is home to many young children, all of whom congregate at the playground and pool located directly behind our house. Staying in our current home will allow Valerie and our children the opportunity to easily interact with others in the community.
Valerie is from a small family while Al’s is very large. We have a rich history of family traditions that we look forward to sharing with our children. Our dream is to provide our children with a life that is full of adventures, a loving family, a strong faith and endless opportunities. We want our children to be aware of the love that their birth-family has for them, reinforcing the special role that they play in everyone’s lives.
Thank you!
We are excited about starting a family through adoption and we look forward to sharing our lives not only with our children but with the birth-family as well. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and considering us as parents for your child. We look forward to talking to you further about our beliefs and family values. Our prayers are with you and your baby as you continue through these emotionally trying times.
Yours in Christ,
Valerie & Al
