Tommy and Jenni - Chattanooga, Tennessee

Dear Birth Mother,

Thank you for loving your child enough to give him or her life. That is the most precious gift anyone can give. Even though we can’t begin to imagine the emotions you are going through, as a child of God, you have the comfort of knowing that He is there for you to reach out to. Please know that we are praying for both you and your child.

We are Tommy and Jenni. We have been married a little over 3 years. Even before we were married, Jenni was told it would be difficult for her to bear biological children. Although that fact was a difficult one to accept, we know for certain that God has led us to adoption. We have two close family friends who have both adopted children, and we have been blessed to be a part of their lives and see how amazing adoption can be. We feel blessed that God has led us to adoption, and can’t wait to have a baby in our arms.

No child on this Earth would be more loved than a child in our family. Our families are a huge part of our lives. We have an extremely supportive, loving family. Both sets of parents are anxious to become grandparents, and to welcome a baby into all of our lives. We both grew up in this community and our families are both here. We attend a large Baptist church, with many wonderful children’s programs. Tommy’s family attends the same church, and Jenni’s family attends a Methodist church nearby. We can’t wait to raise a child to know God the way we do.

About Tommy (by Jenni): My husband is my best friend. Not only that, but he is truly the best human being I have ever met. He is a Godly man, and everyone who knows Tommy understands that he is a conscientious, loving, family man. My husband will be an amazing father. He has always wanted to be a dad. The prophecy in his high school yearbook read, “I can’t wait to coach my child in sports.” We have many friends with children, and to watch him with them is just magical. Children just absolutely love him; everyone does. Tommy is very reserved and easy-going. He loves outdoor activities, as well as taking trips with our family, and working on home improvement projects. He is intelligent, and very well-grounded. Our family is his main priority in life.

About Jenni (by Tommy): My wife and I have a beautiful marriage. I love her with all my heart. She was my first true love at a very early age, and I always hoped that one day we would be together and have children. I cannot imagine anyone else being the mother of my child. Her desire to be a mother is overwhelming. Through her career as a school teacher, she has experienced a unique and incredible bond with young children. Everyone who knows her knows that she is never at a loss for words…she loves to talk! She is outgoing, lively, and has a spirit of love and joy which will make her an amazing mother. She loves to cook, read, and travel…we visit the beach at least once each summer and always make another trip in the Fall to New York, Disney World, or the mountains. We also both enjoy attending University of Tennessee sporting events with Jenni’s family.
