International Process

 Regular information meetings assist couples in deciding whether or not this is the way they should choose to build/expand their families
- Adoption coordinator assists family in complying with the requirements of the country from which the couple plans to adopt
- A local caseworker provides additional assistance; completes the adoptive family assessment
- Adoption coordinator assist in the preparation of the dossier
- Bethany International staff assist with the referral process and help families to make appropriate travel arrangements
- Bethany provides the post placement services required by the country from which the child is being adopted
- Should problems arise, Bethany provides referrals to appropriate counseling services in the community where the adoptive family resides
- Bethany assists the family in finalizing the adoption in the United States when that is required by a particular country
