A Word About Fees
A word about fees: A significant portion of every adoptive placement is subsidized by donations from supporting churches, individuals, and our fundraisers. We, at Bethany Christian Services, are committed to keeping our fees as low as possible so that otherwise eligible families can afford to adopt a child. (Please view Adoption Costs for more information about the fees for services.)
Adoption costs can appear to be quite staggering, but the good news is that there are many options for financing adoption expenses. Especially note the information about the Adoption Tax Credit. Based on your income, the federal tax credit for adoption expenses is now as much as $10,390, making the average cost for a Bethany adoption under $6,000.
We hope that you will want to join other Bethany families by helping us keep our fees affordable by contributing to our non-profit (501c3) ministry. In fact, financial support from our adoptive families, their friends, their families, and from churches who are supportive of our ministry help to offset the overall cost of providing all the services that we provide - to birthparents, to women who do not ultimately choose adoption, and to adoptive families!
