Friends of Bethany
“Friends of Bethany” is the name of the corps of volunteers who wish to participate in the ministry of Bethany Illiana. The range of services varies by project or event. There are opportunities for all who have a desire to become an active partner in the ministry to children and families. As you can see, there are many ways to be a “Friend of Bethany.” Please sign up today!

  • Support staff a few days a month
  • Fundraising
  • Be a mentor to a young teen
  • Fill in for foster families needing a vacation!
  • Be a “buddy” to a waiting family
  • Activity planner
  • Plan a baby shower at your church or social organization
  • Plan a foster care Christmas party
  • Plan a foster parent appreciation brunch

Children’s Fund
The Bethany Children’s Fund is a carefully invested fund whose interest is used for new or expanded services. The Fund is divided into several components:
  • For each individual office, like Illiana
  • For international ministries
  • For a general “master fund” to benefit all of Bethany
(split your gift into any combination of the above)

However you choose to give, whether immediately, or through a planned gift, rest assured that Bethany will maximize your gift so it will bear fruit, touching and changing children’s lives for generations to come.

Sponsorship
Bethany Christian Services has the privilege of finding permanent adoptive families for over 1,500 international and domestic children
each year, including children with significant physical or emotional challenges. But many children wait to be adopted. Some never find a home. They live without HOPE.

One of the ways you can give HOPE to these
children is through sponsorship.

We can match you with an international child. Your sponsorship will allow Bethany to care for, and possibly find a
permanent home for that child. You will receive a photo and quarterly updates on your child's progress. Your pledge will help
meet the needs of the child you sponsor.

To sponsor a child, print the SPONSOR FORM (pdf file), complete, and mail in with your first sponsorship gift to the address on the form.
