From the Director
Welcome to Bethany Christian Services of Missouri, serving Central and Southern Illinois. Thank you for taking time to visit our website. You have come to the right place. We hope you will find answers to your questions and be encouraged about the option of adoption. Our professional staff has been meeting the needs of birthparents and adoptive families since 1944. Since January 2007, our satellite staff have been providing services in the State of Illinois. We believe strongly in providing quality, compassionate, and timely services to:
- birthparents experiencing unplanned pregnancies
- couples struggling through the issues of infertility and desires for a child
- families who are wanting to add to their family through adoption
We provide
free, confidential counseling to individuals facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our compassionate counselor will help you make an informed choice as you look realistically at your options of adoption or parenting. Whether you decide to parent or place your child for adoption, we are here for you.
Bethany Christian Services offers a ministry specific for those facing the many issues related to infertility. Our
Stepping Stones ministry provides support for you in addition to the one-on-one contact you will have with your local adoption specialist. We want to join you on your journey as you seek to build your family through adoption either through our
Domestic,
International, or
Embryo Services program.
We also have additional programs, one of which is our Children of Promise. Bethany Christian Services has services in 15 international countries with a mission to find forever homes for children. We currently have over 150
children waiting for permanent families. Find more information at our

We provide both domestic and international adoption services for families throughout Missouri and Central/Southern Illinois. Please fill out our
