We invite you to join us for an inspirational message from Kay Warren and a special performance from musical guests Avalon and Selah. You will be motivated and challenged by the songs and a message about the need to care for orphans.

Tickets are only $5. The proceeds will benefit Bethany Christian Services’ work with Project Open Arms to find adoptive families for the 6,000+ foster children in Michigan waiting to be adopted.
Kay Warren
Kay Warren, author of Dangerous Surrender and wife of pastor and best-selling author, Rick Warren, is using her far-reaching influence as a voice for orphans and vulnerable children.

In 2002, Warren became, in her words, “seriously disturbed” by the suffering of the millions of orphans infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Through the P.E.A.C.E. Plan, she is now challenging the worldwide Church to take on not just AIDS, but the global giants of spiritual darkn
ess, the lack of servant leaders, poverty, disease, and ignorance.

Warren frequently travels around the globe to encourage HIV-positive men, women, and children, including orphans, and today she is a powerful advocate on their behalf.

In addition to being featured at various Purpose Driven church growth conferences, Warren has addressed many government, church, academic, and professional groups, including the Government Women Leaders of Rwanda, the Management Association of the Philippines, and the Learning Community of Willow Creek Church. She co-hosted with her husband, Rick, the Saddleback Civil Forum on Global Health, honoring President and Mrs. George Bush. Recognized for her passion and influence, Warren has spoken to The Global Coalition on Women and AIDS (UNAIDS) and at the Ecumenical Pre-Conference of both the XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto and the XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico City.

In 1980, Warren and her husband began Saddleback Church in the living room of their condominium. Now one of the largest churches in America, Saddleback Church has given Warren a platform for influencing Christians and other leaders worldwide. Raised in the heritage of a Christian home, Warren attended California Baptist College and earned her B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. She is mother to Amy, Joshua, and Matthew, and grandmother to Kaylie, Cassidy, Caleb, and Cole. She and her husband reside in Southern California.

Avalon
During Avalon's illustrious career, the modern pop quartet has sold more than three million records and garnered 21 chart-topping singles, six Dove Awards, three Grammy nominations, and an American Music Award. In addition to founding member Janna Long, the group consists of Greg Long (Janna's husband and group member since '03), Jeremi Richardson, and its newest member, Amy Richardson, making her Avalon debut on Reborn, who also happens to be Jeremi's wife.

Selah
