MN Waiting Children Adoption
Bethany Christian Services of MN has partnered with the state of Minnesota in order to recruit families and place children in adoptive homes. We are excited to work with families wanting to adopt MN Waiting Children. MN Waiting Children are children in the state foster care program who are available for adoption. These children are unable to live with their families due to abuse, neglect, or delinquency issues. Adoptive families must have a heart for children with special needs, such as emotional or behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or physical impairments. Most of the children have experienced multiple traumas that have affected their emotional, mental, and physical health. However, in spite of these challenges, all of these children have exceptional potential!
In the state of Minnesota there are approximately 650 children waiting to be adopted by loving families. Of these children, nearly 40% are 12 to 17 years old. In addition, nearly 60% of these children are part of sibling groups, and these siblings need to be adopted together. All kinds of families can care for Minnesota's Waiting Children! We are looking for people that have a love for children, an ability to commit to challenges, and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.
