Terri Bowles, Director
Terri joined the Bethany Knoxville staff in 2005 and oversees all operations of the office, including public relations, quality control, budget management, and board development. Terri has a master's degree in counseling.
Lauren Wilson, Pregnancy Counselor
Lauren joined the Knoxville staff in 2006 and facilitates all counseling and casework services for expectant parents and also coordinates services with interns and the Tri-Cities pregnancy counselor. She has a master's degree in social work.
Julie Ford, Pregnancy Counselor
Julie is our pregnancy counselor for the Tri-Cities area, and she assists with Home Studies and other tasks relating to our domestic infant adoptive families in that region. Julie joined the Bethany staff in 2007, and she has a bachelor’s degree in social work.
Leah McRae, Intercountry Adoption Specialist
Leah joined the East TN Bethany staff in the spring of 2007 and coordinates all intercountry adoption services for the Knoxville office. She also assists with contract Home Studies and provides supervision to interim care homes. Leah has a bachelor's degree in human services.
Mark Akers, Domestic Infant Adoption Specialist
Mark joined Bethany in 2006 and coordinates all domestic infant adoptions for the East Tennessee region. He has a master's degree in counseling psychology.
Nancy Lesslie, Embryo Adoption Specialist
Nancy has a bachelor's degree in social work and has been associated with Bethany since the Knoxville office first opened. Nancy oversees embryo adoption casework for the Bethany Knoxville office and the National office.
Bunny Cannon, Office Coordinator
Bunny joined the Bethany staff in 1999 and provides administrative oversight for the Knoxville office and East Tennessee service area.
