Lee and Andrea - South Carolina

Dear Birthmother:

We appreciate you taking the time to read our letter. We hope and pray that since you are reading this, you have chosen life for your baby and are considering the next step to be adoption. We know that deciding on adoption is a very courageous, self-less and loving decision. For us as a couple, this will be the most amazing gift we could ever receive. We pray that God will guide you in this difficult time. May He bring you peace with your decision.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We are Andrea and Lee and we feel blessed to have this opportunity to adopt. We met in church in 1985, when he and his family moved into our community. We started dating in 1988 and after Andrea completed college we were married in 2002.

We have always known that we wanted children and after trying for 4 years and then going forward with fertility treatments, we have prayed and decided that adopting a child is God’s will for our life.

Lee is a Superintendent for a local construction company and enjoys his job. He is an outdoors person, he loves hunting and woodworking. He is a member of the local volunteer fire department and also attends classes to become a first responder. He is also on various boards and committees at the church we attend. Lee has a loving and caring spirit and will make a wonderful father for any child we are able to adopt.

Andrea is a Chemist at an herbal processing facility and has been employed 11 ½ years there. She is a youth director at the church where they attend and is involved in many activities for the children and youth of the church. She also bakes and decorates cakes for people. This is a favorite pastime of hers. She will be a loving and compassionate mother and will be wonderful with any child we are able to adopt.

We have a two bedroom home with a big fenced in yard. Lee built our house on his own and put many hours of love and devotion into it. We moved into the house the night we were married and have added our own special touches over the years as we grow together in out relationship. Our house is a home and has much love to give to a child.

We enjoy spending time with each other and also with our pets. We both have very loving and caring parents and brothers. Our family is close knit and we are very blessed to have them. We as well as our families will welcome a child into our family and pray God will bless us as He sees fit.
