A Child Waits Foundation
A Child Waits Foundation is a non-profit, charitable foundation formed in 1998. Their purpose is to increase the number of children who are adopted by helping families with some of the cost of adoption. Their focus is on international children as they provide low-interest loans and adoption grants for families adopting a child internationally who are no longer able to continue without their financial assistance. They have helped over 600 families in the U.S. bring home more than 800 children from more than 30 countries on five continents.
Their mission is to save children from living their entire childhood in international orphanages without the warmth and love of a family. Every child deserves a family, and their goal is to unite children waiting for parents who are longing for children.
A Child Waits Foundation is able to help change a child's future and to help fulfill a dream for many families. The Foundation’s goals are to keep expenses low in order to allow a large portion of the Foundations' funds to go directly to prospective parents to help save children from a parentless life.
