The morning of the third annual Bikers For Bethany event September 8 brought fanstastic weather and an enthusiastic group of motorcyclists to the starting point at Central Wesleyan Church. After a few announcements the engines of 77 bikes roared and the chrome and leather army rolled onto the streets of Allegan and Ottawa counties. The riders completed their journey at the Macatawa Bank headquarters on Chicago Drive in Zeeland.
After a lunch of hot pizza, Redemptions Riders Motorcycle Ministry hosted a bike show complete with awards in several categories. Donated items were auctioned off and the winners were announced. A special testimony was given by Mike and Jane Oosterhouse about the services they received from Bethany while adopting their son, Ryan.
Over $17,000 was raised to help support our Older/Special Needs Adoption program.

We give God the glory for the success of the event, and we'd like to enthusiastically thank our volunteers who so willingly gave their time to make the event go smoothly. We are also grateful for the many friends of Bethany who showed up to ride and to our fantastic sponsors who make an event like this possible.
