Welcome to Bethany – Northern California!

We’re glad to be a part of Bethany’s worldwide ministry to children and families!

Adoption
In Northern California, we want to reach those who believe abortion is their only option, with another option – ADOPTION! And we want to be The Resource for the Christian community when it comes to expanding their family by adoption.

Counseling
We have been providing compassionate Christian counseling for more than two decades, and we have been privileged to see thousands of women choose an alternative that’s good for the baby and for the mom! Life is a gift!

Bethany’s House
Women who choose the “road less traveled” – fewer than 2% of those facing an unplanned pregnancy choose an adoption plan for their child – are heroes in our book! We provide counseling, housing at Bethany’s House, if desired, and referrals for pre-natal care, adoption planning and post-adoption services to women from Bakersfield to the Oregon Border; from the Sierras to the Bay! We also provide temporary care for newborns through our private interim care homes.

Infant Adoption
We’re also privileged to work with couples who desire to become a family through infant adoption. Seeing the relationship develop between the birthparents and the adoptive parents – for the sake of the child – is truly a joy.

International Adoption
We are also thrilled to see the growth of interest in adopting internationally. There are literally millions of orphans worldwide and seeing a child receive the gift of a family through international adoption encourages us to redouble our efforts to do the same for another child!

Donations
We receive no state or federal funding and as such, are always looking for additional financial support to offset the cost of our ministry. Training
If you are affiliated with a church or school or clinic or center and you believe your staff would benefit from a training session on adoption issues, we’d love to provide this service to you, free of charge!
