Bethany has a number of volunteer opportunities that allow families to support pro-life choices in positive and life-changing ways. Our ministry is always looking for committed, loving, Christ-centered families to provide housing for birthmothers during their pregnancy, (Shepherding Ministry).
We also recruit families to provide temporary foster care for infants while their parents make the important decision to parent or make and adoption plan, (Interim foster care). In addition, Bethany welcomes volunteers to help with administrative work in our office, be our liaison between us and their local church body, advocate for children and speak on our behalf to help find families for our minority and special needs children.
Volunteer opportunities do not stop there, we also need baby-sitters to watch children during our monthly birthmom support group, provide transportation to birthmothers who need assistance to make counseling sessions and doctor appointments, hosts to give baby showers to provide new clothes and accessories for our babies in care, or provide gift bags/baskets for our birthmothers who use our services.
