FAQs

There is no cost for you to live here. The house is offset by donations from the Christian community.

We will help any woman without medical coverage apply for medical insurance for her pregnancy related health care.

Our residents see private physicians or midwives that have worked with our home for many years.

Each resident will have an individual plan. Our goal is for each woman to improve her future plan. Each resident that has not graduated high school will attend continuation classes or study to pass the GED. If the resident is in college, she will be encouraged to continue her studies if possible. Any resident that is receiving mental health or drug rehabilitation services will be required to continue with those services. Our residents will also be encouraged to volunteer or work part-time improving employment skills.

The general time frame is six weeks postpartum to receive post-adoption counseling.

It is not a requirement to be a Christian to live at Bethany's House. However, we share and talk about our faith openly.

Any woman is welcome to live at Bethany's House as long as she is considering an adoption plan for her child.
