Integration and Orientation
Bethany has been preparing for the refugee to come long before they arrive. If the refugee, or refugees, are a family, PARA connects the refugee with their sponsoring church. PARA staff and members of the church go to the airport, greet the family, and welcome them to their new home.
If the refugees are unaccompanied minors, Bethany staff will have connected the young people to a foster home, or to a group, or independent living arrangement.
In addition, all refugees are give language lessons and other orientation as needed.
