Many thanks to all who participated in "A Taste of Bethany." The evening was filled with excellent food, a great auction, and incredible testimonies of all that God is doing through Bethany in the areas of orphan care and adoption!

Bethany Servathon
Bethany Christian Services of West Tennessee had a successful Serve-A-Thon on August 22nd during which volunteers spent time serving at local ministries such as the Memphis Union Mission and the Habitat for Hope Ranch.

Many thanks to the staff and volunteers who gave their time as well as to these two ministries who hosted our volunteers. Fundraising efforts for our local Caring Connection fund are continuing into the month of October. Thank you to all who have given to this cause; even if you did not participate directly in the Serve-A-Thon, please consider giving a gift to help our local families to adopt children with special needs.



Food And Fellowship
These meetings are held twice a year. We meet at a local restaurant for an informal time of fellowship. The purpose is to provide ongoing support for our approved families who are adopting domestically, and to have an opportunity for the families and staff to stay in closer contact. It is also helps adoptive families establish a support network among themselves. Birthparent Support Group
The birthparent support group meets quarterly at the office of Bethany Christian Services. For specific dates and times please call 901.818.9996, or fill out our contact form.



Waiting Families Support Group Meetings
Adoptive Parenting Preparation Classes held twice a year. Trainings are held for six hours on a Saturday and topics include; loss and grief, talking to your child about adoption, newborn care, parenting issues, prenatal issues affecting your child, and a panel presentation and discussion is included featuring adoptive parents, birth parent, and adopted persons.
