Bethany is one of several private agencies partnering with the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services Special Needs Adoption program. Children available for adoption through this program are in county foster homes and need permanent adoptive homes. To be considered "special needs," the child must meet one or more of the following criteria: age 10 years or older, member of a sibling group of three or more, have moderate or intensive emotional, behavioral, or physical care needs, or be a member of a minority race. Regular informational meetings are held, and after attending, a social worker from one of the private partners will be assigned to assist you. For more information, visit the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services website – or www.wiadopt.org
