Faithfully One By One is a program that reaches out to faith communities and asks them to join the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Division of Children, Youth, and Family Services (DCYF) in meeting the needs of every child or sibling group without a family. The commitment is to find a family for each child, no matter how long it takes and to make sure that the families who provide foster or adoptive homes have the support they need within their home communities.

Historically, members of the faith communities have frequently become licensed foster and adoptive homes. DCYF and Bethany Christian Services recognize the valuable support that faith communities can provide to individuals and couples.

DCYF has partnered with Bethany Christian Services of New Hampshire to recruit families for children who are unable to remain in their homes. Faithfully One By One’s other important goal is to work within the communities of New Hampshire to increase local support for the families who provide foster or adoptive homes for the children.
