Paulette Holloway, Director of Bethany Christian Services of
Maryland, thanks Craig Decker, Vice President of RBC Wealth
Management, as he hands her $5,000 donation check.


RBC Foundation - USA, based in Minneapolis, MN, donated $5,000 to
Bethany Christian Services of Maryland again in 2008.

"We extend our best wishes to you for continued success and appreciate
the fine work you are doing in the community," wrote James Chapman,
Chairman of the East Regional Advisory Board of the RBC Foundation -
USA.

Craig Decker of Severna Park found the crisis pregnancy counseling and
adoption service on the internet when he was researching for an agency
and was impressed enough to sponsor Bethany Maryland.

Craig Decker is Vice President of RBC Wealth Management, formerly RBC
Dain Rauscher, which has a foundation where employees can sponsor
nonprofits in different regions of the country. Mr. Decker selected
Bethany for a second year because of the work Bethany is doing in the
state of Maryland. Bethany Maryland is part of a national nonprofit
with many programs for families at the local, state, national and
international level.

Executive Director of Bethany Christian Services meets with Ambassador of Uganda

On a recent mission trip to Uganda, East Africa, Executive Director of Bethany Christian Services – Paulette Holloway - had the opportunity to meet with Ugandan Ambassador to the United States – Edith Grace Ssempala. The two discussed the importance of protecting and enhancing the lives children in Uganda and ways in which Bethany Christian Services can play an important role in the lives of these children. Also present, in the photo, Elder Leroy Weatherspoon of the Church Of God In Christ, Chicago, Illinois, who will be partnering with the Bethany Christian Services' office in Southside Chicago. This was Paulette Holloway’s 5th mission trip to Uganda since 2002.
