 Bethany is a private Christian agency licensed by the state of South Carolina to care for and place children for adoption. We comply with all state requirements and have internal guidelines for selecting prospective adoptive parents. As a conservative and evangelical Christian agency, Bethany seeks adoptive couples who have a vital relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord and show evidence of their commitment by full and active membership in their church. Bethany is an agency dedicated to providing alternatives to abortion, and our staff considers applicants who share that perspective and whose churches take a pro-life stand.
