Adoption Services
Bethany Christian Services is committed to finding loving homes for ALL children. We believe that each child deserves caring, nurturing parents. Bethany gives hundreds of babies Christian homes each year. Bethany also places sibling groups and older children, some with special needs.

Can You Parent a Waiting Child?
Bethany matches children with adoptive parents who provide loving, stable homes for children of unplanned pregnancies, and for children from orphanages around the world.

Birthparent Counseling
Bethany’s compassionate counselors provide free counseling to all of those faced with an unplanned pregnancy, regardless if the ultimate decision is parenting the child or releasing the child for adoption. Our counseling is always non-coercive, with the birthparents’ wishes respected and honored. Birthparents can receive pictures and updates of their child for a period of 18-years. Birthparents can also choose the adoptive couple and meet them, if this is their desire.

Foster Care
Bethany recruits, trains and licenses local foster parents who provide safe, temporary and loving homes for infants, while their birth parents make the difficult decision of whether to release the child to Bethany for adoption or choose to parent the child themselves.

International Adoption
Bethany is recognized in more than a dozen countries on three continents. Bethany works with adoption officials in China, South Korea, the Philippines, Ukraine, Albania, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Colombia, and other countries. Our staff cooperates with government agencies, court systems, social service agencies, medical specialists, and immigration officials to ensure that each adopted child and adoptive family receives the best possible care.



Private Adoption
Bethany Christian Services is able to provide a variety of services for those hoping to adopt privately. We can provide the Home Study required by state law, counseling to birthparents, and we are able to work with your attorney as you pursue a private adoption. Our large Bethany network positions us favorably in working with people throughout the United States in contracted services.

Adult Adoptee Services
For those currently age eighteen and older and adopted through Bethany Christian Services, a range of services from non-identifying background information to searching for birthparents is available. We can reunite adult adopted persons with their birthparents provided that the desire is mutual.
