The residential Program provides a therapeutic and home-like setting. Each unit has a great room consisting of a kitchen, dining area, and living room. Bedrooms are located off the living room area providing visual access for supervision purposes. The Unit Therapist and Unit Supervisor have offices located on the unit. Residents are supervised 24 hours a day by Youth Counseling staff.
To offer structure and positive reinforcement, each unit operates on a level system. Levels are based on individual treatment goal achievement, as well as participation and progress in the therapeutic components. Higher levels offer increased privileges and expect a greater level of responsibility. Some daily activities are based on the youth’s current level of achievement.
