Bethany Social Services Albania Receives Anti-Human Trafficking Grant
Exciting News!
Bethany Social Services Albania (BSSA) has recently received over $40,000 from Vodafone Albania Foundation to help expand services provided to women and children who are at risk of falling victim to human traffickers. Over the past 10+ years, BSSA has worked tirelessly advocating for and defending the rights of these women and children.
With the help of Vodafone, over 100 pregnant women and their children will receive the help they need to remain free of human traffickers, and move towards healing and a life of peace and stability.
If you are interested in helping women and children escape slavery and the traps of human traffickers, please visit our sponsorship web site at www.bethanysponsorship.org/albania.

Since 1992, the population of Albania’s capital city has tripled. Sixty percent (60%) of the 750,000 people living in Tirana migrated from underdeveloped areas. Without help, 20% of the children will drop out of school and be susceptible to a life of illiteracy and crime.
Bethany Social Services Albania (BSSA) has been providing social, psychological, and medical services to children, women, and families for more than a decade. In an effort to improve social service delivery and child advocacy at a national level, BSSA has implemented a number of education programs at various levels for both governmental and non-governmental organizations.
In spite of the hurdles and difficulties inherent to meeting the needs of children and families, BSSA maintains a clear vision of our ministry to the people of Albania. Our desire is to continually raise the standard of care for the marginalized people within our communities and to seek God’s wisdom as we work to manifest the fruit of the spirit within our programs.
