Post-Delivery Counseling and Support
Counseling and support following the birth of a baby are provided for birthfamilies for as long as needed. The intensity and frequency of counseling vary with each family, as some families show a need for more intensive follow-up in the first weeks following delivery, while others may show a need for less intense follow-up. Others may come to Bethany at a later point in their lives for the linkage and support they may need. In Bethany's Traditional Domestic Adoption program, there are no charges to birthfamilies who need ongoing support over the years.
