Bethany Christian Services of Mississippi has its branch office located in Jackson and two satellite offices in Columbus and Hattiesburg. We seek to serve all members of the adoption triad; however our first priority is serving birthparents.

While relationships with birthparents vary, our office received a letter from a birthmother whom we had served. We share her letter, for while we were helping to meet her needs at a desperate time in her life, SHE was helping US see the grace and love of our Heavenly Father. Here is her letter:

    Dear Bethany,
    You have been a BLESSING for me -- just one more voice to praise God's work, one more hope restored through your godly ministry! Because of this I will not sit idly by since I have been so blessed (like a church song says.) No words can truly express my heartfelt gratitude for what Bethany did for me!

    At this time last year I was giving birth to my son. God used you to enrich the life of his wonderful adoptive family, and to bless me for His service. Through continuous counseling and planning, Bethany reached out to my desperate situation. A loving and compassionate Bethany counselor, who is more than a friend and mother to me, lightened my way. Now, a year later, I found true peace and joy in my heart knowing that despite all the pain I made the BEST loving decision for my child. He is so happy and so blessed in his family today!

    I have a strong confidence that the God who adopted me as His child will use my painful experience for His wonderful purpose. As a Christian, I have a heart for witnessing to others about God's works of love in my life.

    Since then, I have been blessed with an awesome international business career opportunity, a growing church family, and many Christian friends. God has forever touched my life and He used Bethany to change it for the better! The faithful Lord turned my mistake, my sin, into a blessing. He gave me victory over my circumstances!

    I also saw Bethany at work abroad. As a Romanian native, I witnessed their active involvement and dedicated hard work in my country. God opened a great door in Eastern Europe and I know that Bethany is part of it! It proves once more that the love of Bethany knows no borders.
