Sponsorship and Award Levels for Marathon Participants

| $2,600 | • Entry fee paid by Bethany
• Pre-race pasta meal provided by Bethany
• Myrtle Beach lodging provided for the night of the event |
| $4,000 | • 3-day, 2-night getaway to Hilton Head provided by Bethany,
to be used from February to May 2010 |
Runner’s Responsibilities
• $50 registration fee paid to Bethany Christian Services
• Training for the run
• Raising funds through sponsorships
• All funds due by December 31, 2009; 70% of funds due by November 30
How to Raise $500 in 8 Days
Day 1: Sponsor yourself for $25.
Day 2: Ask 2 family members to sponsor you for $25.
Day 3: Ask 5 friends to sponsor you for $20.
Day 4: Ask 5 co-workers to sponsor you for $20.
Day 5: Ask 5 neighbors to sponsor you for $10.
Day 6: Ask 5 church friends to sponsor you for $10.
Day 7: Ask 4 local merchants to sponsor you for $25.
Day 8: Ask your boss to sponsor you for $25. Also, see if your company will match the $500 you have raised in 8 days!
Bethany’s Responsibilities
• Bethany singlet provided to registered runners
• Regular branch-level meetings to help with fundraising and training
• Publicity provided to area churches and running clubs
•
Event registration provided by Bethany at $2,600 support level
