Todd and Karen:
Todd and I discovered Bethany Christian Services in August 2001. We went to our first meeting and knew right away, this was the right agency for us. Along the way, we met some amazing and strong people in the support group meetings. We met several Bethany staff, who were very, very supportive and always knew how to make the “wait” easier.
We had our share of failed adoptions – 3 in all. But all of that was worth every minute when we got the phone call about our daughter, who was 10 days old! Words can’t describe the emotions that we felt for the next 2 weeks. We were able to meet our daughter in foster care and we finally took her home at 3 ½ weeks of age.
Our lives will be forever changed, and for the better. God gave us the strength and patience we needed to get through our 2 ½ year wait. We thank Him every day for our beautiful and wonderful gift.
