INTERCOUNTRY ADOPTION TRAINING:
There are two required components to the intercountry adoption training.

1) Initially, you will be completing eight hours of Hague required, on line, training as part of your home study,

2) We are also offering a group meeting format to compliment your training while you are waiting for placement. You will particularly enjoy interfacing with a physician, adoptive parents and adult adoptees. There is no cost for this training session. This will be credited as seven hours of training. We strongly encourage both parents to attend this valuable training session.

PRIDE Training Classes 2009
With the exception of the class on Wednesday, August 19, the daytime PRIDE classes have been cancelled due to lack of interest.

For the remainder of 2009, classes will be offered over the weekends of September 25 & 26 and October 2 & 3

The Traverse City Branch will be holding the following orientation sessions at the Bethany Christian Services conference room located at 1055 Carriage Hill Drive, Suite 1, in Traverse City.

From the North: (Petoskey, Gaylord, Kalkaska) At the inter section of MI-72 and US -31 go 3.8 miles to 3 Mile Road. Turn left on 3 Mile Road. Go 1 mile and turn right on S. Airport Road. Go 1.9 miles to the traffic light at S. Garfield Avenue. Turn left, going south on Garfield for 0.9 miles. Turn right onto Carriage Hill Drive. Turn into the second drive on your left by the Carriage Hill sign. Our main entrance is in Suite #2.

From the South: (Cadillac, Manton) Going north on US 131, turn left onto MI-113. Go 10.6 miles, then turn right onto CR-611/Garfield Rd. in Kingsley. Continue north on Garfield for about 11 miles. Go straight through the intersection of Hammond Rd. The first road on your left after Hammond Rd. is Carriage Hill Drive. Turn left onto Carriage Hill drive, and left into the second drive by the Carriage Hill sign.

From the West: (Interlochen, Ludington) From the intersection of US 31/US 37 and Beitner Rd. (Chum’s Corner), go East on Beitner Rd. which turns into Keystone Road. Go about 3 miles and turn right onto Birmley Road. Go about 1 mile to the next light. Turn left onto Garfield Road, go straight through the intersection at Hammond. The first road on your left after Hammond Rd. is Carriage Hill Drive. Turn left onto Carriage Hill drive, and left into the second drive by the Carriage Hill sign.
