These fees include the:
  • Formal Application
  • Home Study: due at the completion of the Home Study
  • Program Fee/Administrative Fee: due at Home Study completion
  • Post-Placement Services: due dates vary by branch
2. Lithuania Country Fee: $10,000-$12,000
  • $10,000 for children with special placement needs or for families with Lithuanian heritage
  • $12,000 for children without special placement needs or for families without Lithuanian heritage
  • $5,000 due with dossier submission; remainder due with referral acceptance
3. Lithuania Travel Costs: $10,500-$14,300 (2 people)
  • Travel from the U.S. to/from Lithuania: $4,000-$6,000 (2 trips)
  • Child's travel $700-$800
  • Stay in Lithuania: $5,800-$7,500
4. Miscellaneous Fees: $1,820-$2,040
  • Includes USCIS, fingerprinting, passport fees, child's visa, child's passport, child's medical exam of vaccinations
