We have not received our referral package from CCAA yet. We anticipate receiving referrals next week for LID February 20, 2006 and hopefully February 22, 2006 as well.
On another note, there are hundreds of waiting children on the CCAA portal waiting for their forever families. Please join me in prayer for these kiddos. Although BCS matched COP referrals last week, the majority of the remaining children on the portal continue to have moderate to severe special placement needs. We desperately need families for boys, older children (over the age of six), children over the age of three with limb deformities, a variety of spinal defects (meningocele, spina bifida, scoliosis, cleft spine, etc.), otolaryngological disease, opthalmic disease, and children with neurological disorders. Please contact your social worker for more information on our COP program and consult with your medical professionals for information on these medical conditions.
These children deserve a forever family too...
