7-7: Update and Article from Adoptive Families

Two families are currently in Ethiopia awaiting the visas for their children to travel home.  Two additional families received Embassy dates for July 21.  11 families are anxiously awaiting news of their Embassy and Travel dates.

Bethany News Blog on July 1?  BCS and our local partner in Ethiopia, Yezelalem Minch, received a 1-year grant expanding care for orphans and vulnerable children in Ethiopia.  We hope you will take the time to read more about this exciting project starting in Ethiopia! Bethany is blessed by our local partners in Ethiopia and blessed with the opportunity to work on this project serving more children and families.

I have been to Ethiopia twice since I started working for Bethany Christian Services in March 2009 as International Service Manager. The two trips were quite productive and fulfilling. I am pleased to report that our program in Ethiopia has been revamped to meet the opportunities and challenges that come with anticipated growth.
