It is hard to believe that we are on our last day of 2007. It has been an exciting year for Bethany's Haiti program. With Bethany's first dossiers being sent to Haiti in 2006, this past year saw a number of children join their "forever families". And, there are also a number of children that will be arriving on American soil early in the new year. As well, the Haiti program has really grown this past year. There are many families who have been referred a child, and are waiting in various stages of the adoption process. There are others whose dossiers are in Haiti, and these families are just waiting for the day they are given their referral, and they are introduced, for the the first time, to their new child.
It is with great anticipation that we, the Haiti team of Bethany, say "Hello" to 2008! Might this be a year that many "forever families" are created! We look forward to working with you this coming year.
