One child arrived home in October, and one family is waiting their final USCIS approval!  Also, three families' dossiers were sent to Hong Kong in September!  We are thankful for God's blessings to the Hong Kong children and families.

I was watching the news last night and was excited to see this story and wanted to share it with you here...ABC News - "Senior with Down Syndrome Crowned High School Queen".  

Since we started our Hong Kong program in 1999, almost 40% of our placements have been children with Down syndrome of all ages!  And what a blessing these children are to their families, and what a blessing for the children to have families in the US where we have so many recourses!!  Praising our Father for his blessings

How did the summer end so quickly?
Mid-Autumn Festival is being celebrated today in Hong Kong
One family is preparing to travel, hopefully by months end, and a few other are waiting on their official matching approval!  We're praying for continued progress on these cases - so the children can join their forever families soon!

We apologize for the delay in updating this blog.  Due to a tragedy in my family, vacations, and holidays, we have not been able to appropriately keep you all updated, and I do apologize.  Please know that I will update the blog by the end of July with progress and news.  On a personal note, my family covets your prayers.  I truly appreciate your patience and understanding in this delay...

At the prompting of a co-worker (not endorsing a tv show, network, etc), I wanted to share this video with you.  

There are many special children world-wide who are waiting for their forever families - specifically, many children with Down syndrome in our Hong Kong program.  With the love, encouragement, and guidance of a forever family, children WILL live up to the fullest potential that God has planned for them...

One family traveled to Hong Kong last week, and another family is arriving this week!  Thank you Father for your hand in the adoption process for these families and the children who are joining their forever families.   We are also thankful to our Father for answering prayers and breaking some red-tape tangles!!

...are many more children!  Please take a moment to pray for these extra special kids - that their forever families are waiting for them, just as they are waiting for their forever families.  We have more than 35 children waiting in Hong Kong alone.

Please also pray for two families struggling with USCIS and adoption red-tape.  Please Father, hear our prayer, and speedily bring these children to their families forever.
