Chuseok is one of South Korea’s most important holiday celebrations!  The celebration honors ancestors and brings families together.  Families travel great distances to be together for a large meal, family traditions national games.  The date is determined by the moon phases.  For this year, 2009, the official Chuseok is Saturday, October 3.

Holt-Korea will be closed briefly to celebrate this important holiday!  Enjoy & celebrate!!!

Holt-Korea just celebrated their 54th Anniversary on Monday, October 12.  We give thanks for Holt Korea and all the children and families they’ve served.  We are Blessed to have our partnership with them.

We rejoice this week as five families received referrals and two families accepted referrals of special needs/waiting children!!!

Many families have inquired about the “rumors” on the web regarding EP delays.  Holt reported that an official statement would be delivered shortly.  As of today, we have not noticed any significant delays for our Bethany families.  The process continues to move along accordingly.  In the last month, six children have joined their forever families.  Praise God!!!

Happy fall.

Many families have inquired regarding the rumors online regarding EP delays for some agencies. We have received confirmation that there have been no unusual delays for Bethany families in obtaining the EP as a part of their adoption process. We will keep you informed should this status change. Thank you.
