As one family leaves this weekend for Ukraine another comes home in a few days with their new daughter. Bethany has four additional families who are registered and five other families working on their dossier. There are many older children and those with special needs who wait in this country for a family. The family coming home next weekend was in Ukraine for 7 weeks.
A new director, Mrs. Volynets, has been appointed to the SDA. She had been director previously before the current one was appointed. Mrs. Volynets will be back in her position soon and as always with new officials there could be changes but nothing stated at this time.
As of today, the quota for dossiers of US families has been filled. Dossiers of families open to adopting older and special needs children will still be accepted.
Bethany also has an extensive social service program in Ukraine. Each month we will try to include a few hightlights from one of the services. This month is a brief update on some of the families and children supported by our Bethany's Sponsorship program.

- The Oleksandra and Lisa have moved into their new house. They are safe and no longer have to worry about getting sick.
- Daryna received life saving surgery on her back. She has struggled with some postoperative complications, but she is now home and doing well.
- Irina and her daughter, Olga are graduating from Bethany's Sponsorship program! Congratulation to Irina on her new job, and their new found independence.
- Tetiana received the wheelchair she needed. Now she can remain independent, and continue advocating on behalf of people with special needs.
- Arthur and his parents are excited about moving into their new home. They will have running water and consistent electricity for the first time.
