Date:  Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Time:  6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Parents often ask, "How can I meet the needs of all of my children?" In this workshop parents will learn strategies to build a positive family environment for all family members. The unique needs of "typically" developing children who have special needs siblings will be addressed. Topics such as explaining spe-cial needs to children, giving children a voice to express thoughts and feelings and the potential benefits of having a special needs sibling will be covered.

Training is appropriate for kinship, foster, pre-adoptive, waiting and adoptive families. Childcare will not be provided.

Cost for each training session is $20 per person or $30 per couple. Fees apply to all families attending.

Pre-registration is required. Payment must be received by 9/8/14.
