Give a child the opportunity for a family and a future.

Philippines

In the Philippines:

The lives of many Filipino children are negatively impacted by poverty, food insecurity, energy crises, and war. Bethany has a long history of uniting Filipino children with forever families in the United States. We have worked in the Philippines since 1986 to facilitate international adoptions through the ICAB (Inter-Country Adoption Board).

Our greatest need in the Philippines right now is to raise more funds in support of Caring Connection grants for children with special placement needs. Your gift can help bring a family together.

Adoption requirements in the Philippines:

Each adoptive parent must be between 27 and 45 years of age. If you intend to adopt an older child, an age exception may be considered. Families with up to four children in the home are generally eligible but may be asked to adopt a child with special needs. Families must meet U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service income requirements.

At least one parent must travel to the Philippines to bring the child home. We strongly recommend that both parents travel. You need to have a U.S. passport to travel to the Philippines. If you are considering international adoption, visit our international adoption page or download the adoption guide.  If you are ready to take the first step, begin by completing the preliminary application.
