Give a child the opportunity for a family and a future.

Finding a family for every waiting child.
Project Open Arms
Thousands of children in Michigan are waiting to be adopted by a forever family. These children long for a permanent home and parents who will love them unconditionally.
The goal of Project Open Arms is to find a loving family for every waiting child. We seek to motivate members of the body of Christ in Michigan to demonstrate their faith by caring for these children. We approach each child with the conviction that every life is a promise from God.
God calls the Church to care for orphans and the vulnerable in society. Many people have a heart to adopt, but few take the first step.
Project Open Arms seeks to raise awareness about waiting children through local churches. Bethany partners with churches to increase the number of families who become adoption advocates, recruiters, and adoptive families. We pray these efforts will help people like you provide a permanent home to a child in need. By God’s grace, there will be no child waiting for adoption in Michigan.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27 NIV
